    A fire investigator is due to attend the scene of a house fire south of Levin, which closed State Highway 1


    Fire and Emergency New Zealand says it responded with 10 fire trucks to the blaze in Ohau which started just after 6 last night.

    They say the fire was in two bedrooms of the property which sits on State Highway 1 in the town.
