The Indian Panthers' basketball boss is adamant the resignation of coach Miles Pearce ... after one game ... has nothing to do with their struggle to get players into the country

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

Australian Jonathan Goodman takes over in an interim capacity ahead of tonight's National Basketball League game against the Franklin Bulls.

The Panthers' head honcho Parveen Batish is refusing to explain why Pearce resigned.

The Panthers started the season missing eight players due to visa problems and international commitments, and aren't due to get their full roster until next week.
