Work's underway to lower the screening age for bowel cancer even further
5 October 2025
It's lowered to 58 tomorrow for Northland, Auckland, and the South Island, and for the rest of the North Island next year.
Maori and Pasifika lose access to screening at the age of 50, but the Government says it will eventually lower the screening-age to 45 for everyone.

Mr Brown says they'll assess end of the year data, to decide what to do next.
