    New Zealand has 49 thousand 645 active community cases of Covid-19


    It comes as we record 7591 new community cases today...along with 16 deaths with the virus.

    Of the deaths seven were from Auckland, three each from Canterbury and Wellington, and one each from Lakes, Bay of Plenty and Southern.

    The seven-day rolling average of community cases is 7095, last Thursday it was 7981.

    There are also 69 imported cases being reported today.

    Meanwhile there are 355 people in hospital, 12 in ICU.
