Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex is seen seemingly getting a tattoo from Jelly Roll in a new skit to promote the Invictus Games

The 40-year-old royal filmed the comedy sketch to highlight the event in Canada next year and he was seen sitting in a chair at New York City tattoo parlour East Side Ink when the country music star comes in and dec lares he will be giving Harry his first inking

Jelly Roll tells him: "Do you know I could not believe it when they called me and told me Prince Harry wanted to get a tattoo today, and he wanted me to give him his first tattoo?"

Harry then insists: "No, I came here to ask you to do the Invictus Games. There's no tattoo in this. I can't get a tattoo."

The singer then says: "I'll play the Invictus Games. You just let me give you your first tattoo."

The prince then agrees to the body art, saying: "Alright, screw it. Let's go! Let's do it. Where do you want it? ... I was thinking like my lower back or my a***."

Jelly Roll then dec lares: "No, nobody wants to see your a***, Harry ... This is for the world. I'm thinking like, here, let me just show you."

He then appears to ink a design on Harry's neck which reads: "I am Jelly Roll" and Harry exclaims: "You put your name on my neck ... are you serious? Oh s***."

The tattoo is believed to be a temporary inking. The video was posted on social media with the caption: :The most [mind-blowing] inking of a deal in Invictus Games history. Watch when Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex meets @JellyRoll615 at East Side Ink Tattoo. Don't miss this duo reuniting in Vancouver #IG25 Closing Ceremony Feb 16. Get [tickets] before they sell out."

Jelly Roll will be performing at the closing ceremony in Vancouver in February.
