Ministers are being urged to make bold changes to tackle the growing threat of organised crime

Ministers are being urged to make bold changes to tackle the growing threat of organised crime

A ministerial advisory group has released it's first report since being established in February.

It says methamphetamine use skyrocketed to its highest level last year.

Group chair Steve Symon says a lack of information-sharing between government agencies, is highlighted as a problem.

He says there's concerns they might be breaching privacy rights and cultural issues of not thinking outside a designated agency.
