    Mixed news today on the employment front

    Mixed news today on the employment front


    Stats NZ figures show filled jobs increased 0.1 percent last month.

    Primary industry jobs rose 0.9 percent, and service jobs were up 0.2 percent, but manufacturing jobs were down 0.2 percent.

    But job ads on website Seek are continuing to fall.

    Further data -- due out Wednesday next week -- is expected to show unemployment is still climbing.
