Meat exports have reached a record high, despite Donald Trump's recently-scrapped tariffs

The US also remains the largest market for New Zealand beef.

Stats NZ data shows meat exports reached 10-billion for the first time in the year to October.

That's up about 19-percent on the year before, and surpasses the previous high of 9.9 billion reached in the year to November 2022.

Total exports were up 14-percent to 79.4 billion.
