    A 73-year-old man has been charged with murder over the death of a 77-year-old man at Horeke, north of Kaikohe last month


    Daniel Hepehi died after being found with critical injuries at a Waikerikeri Road property in the early hours of May 22.

    Detective Inspector Rhys Johnston says the accused's appearing in Kaikohe District Court today via video link.

    Police aren't seeking anyone else.
