Lila Moss has paid a loving tribute to mom Kate Moss on her birthday

The 23 year old marked the supermodel's turning 52 on Friday (16.01.26) with a sweet throwback photo of Lila as a tot spending quality time with Kate in a garden.

Model Lila captioned the Instagram post with: "Happy birthday mummy!!! I love you the mostest (sic)."

Many celebrities rushed to the cute upload's comments section to wish blonde beauty Kate a very happy birthday.

Singer Rita Ora's mom, psychiatrist Vera Sahatçiu, penned: "Happy BD to YOU and to ME my dear Kate (sic)."

Influencer Camille Charriere, 38, wrote: "Cutest. Happy birthday mossy (sic)."

And 59-year-old columnist Meg Mathews - who was married to Oasis' Noel Gallagher, 58, from 1997 until 2001, with whom she has a daughter, model-and-photographer Anais Gallagher, 25, with - typed: "Happy birthday."

Elsewhere, Kate - who has Lila with her 54-year-old ex-boyfriend, co-founder and CEO of Dazed Media, Jefferson Hack - also received a heartwarming birthday tribute from her 47-year-old brother, Nick.

Nick took to his Instagram Stories on Friday and shared a selfie of him and Kate posing outside the swanky Italian restaurant, Cecconi's Mayfair, where they celebrated her special day.

Her sibling - who runs a Vietnamese street food truck called Vietvan - wrote over the adorable shot: "Happy birthday big Sis (sic)."

Kate was one of the most recognisable faces of the 1990s, strutting her stuff on the runway at prestigious shows, as well as gracing the covers of magazines, but she has not always been true to herself.

Asked if she had in 2022, Kate told the Evening Standard: "No. But I am now. I'm now in charge of my career. I'm allowed to have an opinion. It used to be that I didn't know what we were shooting until I turned up on set.

"Now I know exactly what I'm doing when I turn up on the day. I know who's doing hair and make-up, who I'm working with."

And in 2024, Kate - who has dabbled with design over the years - admitted she could not believe the difference between the lives of models today and during her 1990s heyday.

Appearing on an episode of Bella Freud's Fashion Neurosis podcast, she said: "Some shows we'd have six looks. Now they have one look, and they have like five hours of hair and make-up.

"The last show I did, and [my daughter] Lila was in it. She had to be at the show at eight in the morning, and the show wasn't until seven at night.

"I was like f****** hell what are they doing to her? ... I wouldn't get through that ... I'd turn up like half an hour before. It didn't matter if I turned up three hours before, I'd still be the last one to get ready anyway ... because I couldn't stop talking to everyone. I couldn't sit still."
