    Support for families affected by Sunday's flooding on the East Coast's Tokomaru Bay


    Tairawhiti Civil Defence says council staff and welfare agencies are working with at least seven households.

    Emergency Manager Ben Green says they are assessing each whanau's needs.

    Meanwhile, contractors continue to carry out emergency repairs.
