    Hayden Paddon's fastening his seatbelt for a different driving experience in Canterbury this weekend


    The 34-year-old rally driver rolls out his Hyundai Kona EV for its debut on the Waimate hill climb.

    The car has been developed over the last two and a half years, with 80 per cent built in-house at his Cromwell base.

    Paddon lays out what's changed compared to a typical gas guzzler, starting with the centre of gravity.
