Lucien Laviscount believes Shakira is an "amazing talent"

The 31-year-old actor has been romantically linked to the chart-topping star after appearing in a music video for Shakira's single 'Puntería', and Lucien has now admitted to loving his experience of working with the singer

He told E! News: "Honestly, I still haven't really come to grips with any of it.

"To work with such an amazing talent, artist and human being was incredible. I took so much from that, and I think everyone can learn from that beautiful woman and who she is."

Asked what he's learned from the Grammy-winning star, Lucien replied: "The way that she operates with her team, and her passion for things, and how she envisions things, and how she wants things to be done, it's all from the heart and how she expresses that to people.

"People will go to the ends of the earth for her - her team, the people that are around her, everyone on that set - because it comes from the heart."

Meanwhile, in April, Shakira described monogamy as a "utopia".

The singer split from soccer star Gerard Pique in acrimonious circumstances back in 2022 - but Shakira revealed that she still believes in love.

The 'Whenever, Wherever' hitmaker - who was with Gerard for more than a decade - told Marie Claire UK: "I cannot say that I don't believe in love because I see the example of my parents after 50 years together; how they look into each other's eyes and hold hands and can't live apart from each other. I've witnessed love, I just haven't been that lucky myself.

"Monogamy is a utopia. But I've been compensated in other ways, with the love of my fans and my children and true friends.

"Oscar Wilde said that friendship is the purest form of love and I think that's true. It lasts longer - at least in my experience.

"My relationship [lasted] 12 years but my friends will be there a lifetime. When hardship came, that's when I learned how truly important friendship was."
