    As the clean up gets underway in Wairoa, Police say they are keeping people and property safe


    Reported crime has remained at normal levels over the last week.

    The town is still in a State of Emergency after severe rain and flooding this week.

    200 homes have flood-affected damage, with many others needing a clean up.
