A man's appearing in court today accused of two Pokémon heists in Taupo

A man's appearing in court today accused of two Pokémon heists in Taupo

Police tracked a man to a bar yesterday following leads from the public - after Pokémon trading cards worth more than two-thousand dollars were stolen from a Tuwharetoa Street store.

Officers arrested the man and recovered cards.

He's also a suspect in the theft of Pokémon cards valued at more than 500 dollars - from the same store, in November.

A 35-year-old man is due in Taupo District Court today.
