Double-murderer Mark Lundy is reintegrating into the community after more than 25 years

Double-murderer Mark Lundy is reintegrating into the community after more than 25 years

He's walked free after being convicted of the murder of his wife Christine and 7-year-old daughter, Amber, in their Palmerston North home in 2000.

The now 66-year-old has always maintained his innocence.

His release includes strict conditions and a suppression order on his living arrangements.

Criminal lawyer Steve Cullen says Lundy will have a network of people to help ease him back into the community.
