Slow digital adoption's potentially hurting small business productivity

Slow digital adoption's potentially hurting small business productivity

New NZIER research estimates increased digitalisation of our small businesses would result in up to an 8.6 billion dollar boost to our GDP.

The Xero commissioned report notes digital adoption in New Zealand is uneven and fragmented, lagging behind other OECD countries.

Country Manager Bridget Snelling says the Government can do more to encourage small businesses.

She says policies in other countries include financial incentives and specific advisory networks.
