Leah Remini and Jennifer Lopez "text each other loving messages of support" amid their divorces

The 54-year-old actress has revealed that she helped Jennifer - who finalised her divorce from Ben Affleck earlier this year - to overcome her own heartbreak

Leah - who was married to actor Angelo Pagan between 2003 and 2024 - told Us Weekly: "Right after the divorce, we'd text each other loving messages of support."

Leah and Jennifer, 55, don't talk as regularly as they used to. However, they remain good friends.

Leah shared: "Sometimes you don't talk to people every day like you used to, but that doesn't mean the love is lost.

"Friendships ebb and flow. That doesn't mean we're at odds."

Leah is still adjusting to life as a single woman and the actress is in no rush to find someone new.

Asked if she feels nervous about the prospect of starting over with someone new, Leah shared: "Right now, I can't see sitting across from another guy and listening to [him] ... My first question [would be,] 'Are you in therapy?' The answer is probably no, so no need to further the conversation.

"I've only lived alone for six months in my whole lifetime. That's where you find yourself, and that's what I've been doing."

Meanwhile, Jennifer previously insisted that she has no regrets about her divorce.

The actress - who has been divorced four times - admitted that she's learned some painful lessons in her life.

Asked if she has any regrets about the decision, Jennfer told Interview magazine: "Not one second.

"That doesn't mean it didn't almost take me out for good. It almost did.

"But now, on the other side of it, I think to myself, 'F***, that is exactly what I needed. Thank you, god. I'm sorry it took me so long. I'm sorry that you had to do this to me so many times. I should have learned it two or three times ago. I get it. You had to hit me really hard over the head with a f****** sledgehammer. You dropped the house on me. Don't have to do it again.'"
