    Liam Lawson feels weeks of toil has finally come to the fore after his best qualifying performance of the Formula One season


    The New Zealander will start sixth for tomorrow's Austrian Grand Prix.

    Lawson's qualified seven spots ahead of team-mate Isack Hadjar - and finished the best of the four Red Bull-backed drivers.



    Reigning world champion Max Verstappen had to settle for seventh fastest when his final flying lap was ruined by a late yellow flag.

    Pole was claimed by McLaren's Lando Norris - ahead of Charles Leclerc and Oscar Piastri .
