State Highway One's remained closed through Northland's Mangamuka Gorge overnight

State Highway One's remained closed through Northland's Mangamuka Gorge overnight

A large slip came down yesterday afternoon during wet and windy weather.

A detour's in place via State Highway 10.

NZTA had contractors on site yesterday to assess the slip and its stability.

It says the road was remaining closed overnight to ensure the safety of road users.
