    Shot putter Tom Walsh claims to have the upper hand on American rival Joe Kovacs ahead of the Diamond League finals in Zurich overnight...but not on the athletics field


    The world indoor champion comes into the event with two fourth-placed finishes in his last two events, although Kovacs has bested him with a first and a third at those meets.

    Walsh says while there's beef inside the shot put circle...there's also beef outside of it.



    The men's shot put gets underway at 3am.
