    A well-known New Zealander's been charged with sexual abuse


    The man's alleged offending occurred in Auckland in 1995 - and relates to one male victim aged over 16.

    The charge carries a maximum penalty of seven years' imprisonment.

    The man's first court appearance, which was originally set for today, has been rescheduled for Thursday - in the North Shore District Court
