Lala Kent hopes Tom Sandoval has been able to "move on" from his 2023 cheating scandal

The 43-year-old TV star was widely criticised after it emerged that he had a months-long affair with Rachel Leviss, his former Vanderpump Rules co-star, in 2023 - but Lala recently crossed paths with Tom and she hopes that he's got his life back on track.

Lala, 35, told Us Weekly: "It's friendly, but I haven't seen or spoken to him in a very long time. It was like, 'Oh, hi. I didn't know you'd be here.'"

Lala isn't sure whether Tom has displayed any personal "growth" since his time on Vanderpump Rules. However, she doesn't hold a grudge against her former co-star, either.

She said: "I know he's very happy with his girlfriend. I think that anyone who makes a mistake - I'm going to get lit on fire for saying this - I hope that he's been able to move on with his life and be happy."

Tom previously admitted that he wanted to "move on" from his scandal.

The reality TV star split from Ariana Madix in 2023 after it emerged that he had an affair with Rachel - but Tom has now drawn a line under the scandal and is instead focusing on his future.

He told Us Weekly: "It's been two years; I want to move on from that and continue with my life."

Tom became a public hate figure in the immediate aftermath of the cheating scandal, but the reality star now feels the "hate has died down".

Tom - who was in a relationship with Ariana from 2013 until 2023 - shared: "I want to leave that stuff in the past.

"I'm sure there's still people out there who hold on to that - I know there are - but the hate has died down for sure. Whether they're laughing with me [or] laughing at me, at least they're laughing, and that's what I love."
