We're all being warned to be alert, after two data breaches affecting tens of thousands of Kiwis

The Manage My Health portal is yet to start notifying more than 100-thousand people whose sensitive health information may be affected.

Community platform Neighbourly's also investigating a hack, with users' private information offered for sale on the dark web.

Deputy Privacy Commissioner Liz Macpherson says everyone should monitor accounts, and watch for scams.

She says any time there's a data breach, even people not impacted can find suspicious activity on their phone.
