It's a case of behind closed doors for New Zealand sport as long as the country is at the red traffic light setting

It's a case of behind closed doors for New Zealand sport as long as the country is at the red traffic light setting

New Zealand Cricket's confirmed the Twenty20 Super Smash, which moves into its finals stage soon, will go ahead but without crowds.

The women's cricket World Cup beginning on March 4th could be impacted, however Sports Minister Grant Robertson has confirmed the tournament can proceed even if the country is at red.

It's a similar story for the Black Caps home test series against South Africa starting February 17th, which precedes limited overs matches at home to Australia.

Super Rugby Pacific is due to kick-off on February 18th, and it's likely the first few rounds will be played in front of empty seats.
