Dayle Haddon has died at the age of 76

The supermodel - who was known for promoting anti-aging products made by L'Oréal - passed away on Friday (27.12.24) in what law enforcement officials believe was a carbon monoxide leak at the home of her son-in-law and Hallmark actor Marc Blucas in Bucks County, Pennsylvania

Emergency services received a call at around 6:30am on Friday morning to alert them that a 76-year-old man had been found passed out on the first floor of the home, and he was rushed to hospital where he is currently receiving treatment.

Meanwhile, a woman was found unresponsive in a bedroom on the second floor and deputy coroner of Bucks County Eliot Gross confirmed to USA Today that it was Haddon.

The coroner also told the outlet that toxicology reports to determine the cause of death are expected to take place at some point over the weekend.

Dayle is survived by her daughter Ryan Haddon - who is best known as a journalist and as the ex-wife of Hollywood star Christian Slater - from her marriage to the late Glenn Souham, and the newsreader led the tributes as she took to Instagram just hours after the tragedy took place.

She wrote on Instagram: "The bright light that is Dayle has dimmed in this Earthly realm.

"Shining somewhere as radiantly as ever where it's most needed, I have no doubt.

"She was a woman in her power, yet soft and attentive to all.

"Deeply creative and curious, gifted with beauty inside and out. Always kind and thoughtful.

"She held so many up, saw their greatness sometimes hidden to them, and always built bridges with her own connections to help them ascend.

"She was everyone's greatest champion. An inspiration to many

I always trust the timing of things. There are no accidents and certainly how we enter and exit this world is mystical and unknowable.

"She was a high-hearted spiritual being that put value on her soul's evolution, so I know her journey here in this dimension must have been complete."
