Cory Hardrict refuses to have a "messy" divorce for the sake of his children

The 45-year-old actor called time on his marriage to former 'Sister, Sister' star Tia Mowry, 46, in 2023 after 15 years together but intentionally "blocks out the noise" because he wants to "represent" his kids

Speaking on 'Sherri', Cory - who has son Creo, 13, as well as six-year-old daughter Cairo with Tia - said: "Everything starts and ends with love. We are a family, no matter what people say. I block out the noise. My kids are going to live to see this one day, and I am going to represent for them, always.

"If you really love your children, you won't get involved in the noise or the mess. I make sure that I always think about them first. I put myself last. If you do that, you're going to avoid the mess."

His comments come shortly after Tia revealed that Cory had been her "first everything" and that she had never really known anything than their marriage when it comes to relationships.

Speaking during a confessional segment on her WeTV reality show 'Tia Mowry: My Next Act', she explained: "You know I've never dated. Cory was my first everything.

"I wasn't even allowed to date until I was 18 years old. "I met Cory when I turned 20 and I lost my virginity at 25. There, I said it! And then we got married! Boom!"

The former Nickelodeon star did try dating again for a little while but then took a break from because she was struggling to find someone who wasn't interested in her fame.

She told UsWeekly magazine: "I put a little bit of a pause on dating at the moment, because you don't really know why someone is dating you.

"When it becomes very clear on why someone is dating you through their behaviours, it's disappointing.

"I've realised that some people are attracted because there was some sort of infatuation growing up - you know, 'Oh, this is the girl from 'Sister, Sister'. "It's like, 'Nah. I want you to know me and love me when the makeup comes off.'"
