Enthusiasm for a successful Government maths support trial

The 12-week pilot targeted 15-hundred Year 7 and 8 students needing extra support, through small-group tutoring up to four times a week.
On average, students made one to two years of progress.
Auckland's Northcross Intermediate Principal Jonathon Tredray says the curriculum fits well, and they know the accelerated learning process works.
He says the proof will be when this is rolled out to schools, with funding.
