The 31-year-old former Warrior is in his first season with Hull Kingston Rovers in the Super League.

Dally M winner Jahrome Hughes, Kodi Nikorima and Trent Toelau are the only specialist halves.

Fullback-centre Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad is confident in the lineup.

There are also four debutants for the Kiwi Ferns in the women's competition - Alexis Tauaneai, Gayle Broughton, Mackenzie Wiki and Brooke Talataina.
