Hulk Hogan has hinted that he could join Donald Trump's administration

The 71-year-old wrestling legend claimed that he had a conversation with the President-elect, 78, at the Madison Square Garden rally prior to his landslide victory in the election about him taking on a role in diet and health

Speaking on Fox News, he said: "My president said, `You know something, you'd be great to run the President's Council on Physical Fitness'. At the end of the day, when I was in the back at Madison Square Garden after the whole rally, we were talking about Robert Kennedy, I was talking about nutrition and how many foreign countries won't even let their people eat the food that we eat here in America.

"It's so bad and it's poisoned a generation of kids. And at the end of the day, we started talking about physical fitness."

Hulk - whose real name is Terry Gene Bollea - also noted that the President-elect said he would be ideal for that sort of role as he told him that he is "still 71, you still got that Trump pump-on brother - it'd be great if you got all the kids in America into shape".

Hulk did not go into much further detail about the supposed interaction with the billionaire businessman but remains hopeful that a position could be on the cards at some point.

He added: "You never know, it could happen!"

The former 'Apprentice' star - who defeated Democrat Kamala Harris in the November race for the White House - has so far chosen Pete Hegseth as Defence Secretary, Robert Kennedy Junior as Health Secretary and Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence.
