Domino Kirke and Penn Badgley are staying "very fluid" with their preparation for twins

The 'Teething' singer - who already has 16-year-old son Cassius with ex Morgan O'Kane and a four-year-old son James with the 'You' actor - has revealed how her family are preparing for the new arrivals

She told E! News: "Everyone is in the same boat, very, very fluid with it.

"I think they're taking my lead. No one's holding on too tight. It's just an expansion-that's what we're here for."

Domino - who announced her pregnancy two months ago - admitted the idea of welcoming twin baby boys is "so overwhelming".

She said: "It's humbling. It's so overwhelming. The idea of two at once, it's one of those things where you just take your hands off the wheel, and you say, 'I'm just on the ride.' "That's what pregnancy and childbirth are for me... After attending so many births, it's the thing that you actually can't hold.

"There's so much mystery. You just have to trust. With twins, I'm like, 'Oh, it's that times 1,000' and I'm up for it."

The couple revealed the happy news in March, as Domino shared a picture of Penn and their son James kissing her baby bump.

She wrote: "Babies #3 and #4 coming this Summer! Talk about a PLOT TWIST! Spontaneous twins are beyond magical. We are stunned. We are in awe. Can't think of anyone else I'd rather be on this ride with @pennbadgley #handsoffthewheel #monoditwins."

The pair previously welcomed James in 2020 after suffering multiple miscarriages.

Domino is a doula and a co-founder of Carriage House Birth in Williamsburg.

A message on her profile on the company's website states: "My role as a doula is my medicine. It nourishes me as much as I nourish and care for the families I work with."

"Witnessing people give birth stops time. Holding that kind of space for families forces you into your body, the same way it does for the person giving birth. In the birth space we're forced to be extraordinarily present. We're all equal."

She is also a childbirth educator, postpartum doula and doula mentor.
