No word yet, on whether Erin Patterson will appeal her guilty convictions in the Australian mushroom murder trial

No word yet, on whether Erin Patterson will appeal her guilty convictions in the Australian mushroom murder trial

A jury's found Patterson guilty of murdering her estranged husband's parents and aunt, and attempting to kill his uncle with a beef wellington, containing death cap mushrooms.

Newstalk ZB's Lesley Yeomans is in Victoria, following developments.

She says Patterson could now appeal, but her emotionless expression when the verdict was read out suggests she may be starting to accept her fate.

Yeomans says Patterson's legal team must have advised her there was a strong possibility of the guilty verdicts.
