One-test All Blacks prop Aidan Ross has been named in Australia's squad for the Rugby Championship

One-test All Blacks prop Aidan Ross has been named in Australia's squad for the Rugby Championship

The 29-year-old amassed 88 caps for the Chiefs before joining the Queensland Reds on a three-year deal at the start of last month.

After becoming eligible for the Wallabies on July 9 - Ross was called into their squad ahead of the final test against the Lions, but didn't make the matchday squad.

The Rugby Championship group notably features a U-Turn from veteran halfback Nic White - who was set for retirement after the Lions series.

The Brumbies pair of halfback Ryan Lonergan and winger Corey Toole join Ross as the uncapped trio in the squad.
