Palmerston North Police are considering applying for a Gang Conflict Warrant - after being shot at twice in the past 48 hours

Officers were pursing a fleeing vehicle around 1.30 this morning when a passenger allegedly fired five or six times at the patrol car.
Around 4.20am yesterday, Police were following a stolen vehicle when the driver doubled back and a shot was fired, leaving a bullet hole in the police car.
A 20-year-old man's been charged over the first instance - and Police are working to confirm links with the second.
Superintendent Dion Bennett's warning gangs the community's sick of being stuck in the middle, and officers will use all available powers to stamp out vile behaviour.
