Chase Infiniti is feeling "very excited" ahead of the Oscars

The One Battle After Another star - whose film has been a prominent part of this awards season - has revealed that she's already thinking about her plans for Hollywood's biggest night, even if the final details are still under wraps.

She told E! News: "I don't want to say anything and hype it up too much ... but I'm very excited for it. I'm excited for that night and I'm excited to see what I wear."

Chase acknowledged there's "so many moving parts" to preparing for the Oscars, but she plans to "get as much quiet as [she] can" beforehand.

She shared: "I know that day is going to be very crazy ... but I'm going to be filled with so much excitement, because there's so many things to celebrate with the film."

Meanwhile, Chase recently revealed that she was named after Nicole Kidman's character in Batman Forever.

The actress opened up about the origins of her distinctive name, revealing that it was inspired by an Oscar-winning film star.

Speaking to E! News, Chase shared: "When my parents were coming up with my name, they had watched Batman Forever and they were obsessed with Nicole Kidman as Chase Meridian. They said their child has to be named Chase."

Chase's middle name came from an equally unexpected source, too.

She explained: "My parents were like, 'Oh my gosh, to infinity and beyond.' It's from Toy Story."

The actress admitted that she's yet to meet her namesake in person - despite coming close on several occasions.

Chase - who starred alongside the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro, Regina Hall and Teyana Taylor in One Battle After Another - said: "There's been so many times where I've been close to her, but I haven't. I'm itching for the day that it happens. I'm very excited for when it happens."
