Khloe Kardashian is contemplating having a third child

The 41-year-old media personality has daughter True, seven, and son Tatum, three, with her 34-year-old ex-partner, basketball player Tristan Thompson, and Khloe is prepared to use one of her last "embryos in the freezer" to welcome a baby "on my own" if it means True will have a sister.

In the latest episode of her Khloe in Wonder Land podcast, she initially said "never say never" to having a third child, but noted she would want to be married and have a baby with her future husband.

Khloe continued: "Or, I have thought, maybe, I do have a few more embryos in the freezer. And I was like, I don't think I have the energy for another baby, but I do think girls need sisters.

"And it could just be how I was raised, like I feel like Tatum is gonna be fine, but a girl needs her sister, and I think maybe because that was my experience [with Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner]."

However, Khloe does not know if she could cope with having a third child.

The Kardashians cast member said: "But I think I have one girl left, and I have been contemplating, like, do I just do this? Do it on my own, do this? But I don't know if emotionally I could handle this."

"It's just been a thought. I don't think it's going to happen, because I don't have the energy."

If Khloe did have another baby, she would not have the same experience as when Tatum was welcomed into the world.

The Good American fashion brand co-founder explained: "But then I was thinking, because also I would put the baby in a surrogate.

"And I think I would have a very different experience because I would be along for that surrogate journey, as opposed to all the trauma that surrounded Tatum's surrogate experience.

"But when you put an embryo in, there's no guarantee that it will take. So I also was thinking I could try that, and if it doesn't work, then it means that God didn't want me to have another baby, and that's fine.

"But I don't even think I have the emotional capacity."

A person from behind-the-scenes chimed in and suggested that Khloe should have a third child for "sisters", to which the reality TV star admitted that would be the only reason why she would take the plunge.

Khloe replied to the individual: "I know, that's the only thing is why I want to do it."

The socialite said True "knows she has a sister in the freezer, and she will tell people that".

However, Khloe jokingly feared: "I'm like, we need context, though. They'll think I have a little girl in my freezer."

In February, the star said she would "want to be married" before expanding her family.

Speaking on her Khloe in Wonder Land podcast, she explained: "I don't know if I have the bandwidth for a third. And I'm also not married, and I want to be married to have more kids."
