The New Zealand's men's canoe sprint team selected for Tokyo have plenty of history

Kurtis Imrie and Max Brown have earned selection for the K2 1000 boat.

The pair raced against each other as youngsters, and three years ago they moved to Cambridge to chase their Olympic dream.

Brown says they've formed a formidible partnership over the years.

The New Zealand women's canoe sprint team for Tokyo is yet to be finalised but will be headed by double Olympic champion Lisa Carrington.
