    Two from two for New Zealand's star paddler Lisa Carrington


    She's cruised into tomorrow's semi finals of the K1 200 and K2 500 with Caitlin Regal.

    Teneale Hatton and Alicia Hoskin finished 4th in their quarter final to scrape into the semi finals of the K2 500.

    Carrington will also chase medals in the K1 500 and K4 500.


    Our first sailors hit the water in just over an hour with Paul Snow-Hansen and Daniel Willcox in race nine and 10 in the men's 470's , sitting in 5th overall.

    Then the medals are up for grabs in the 49er class, with Peter Burling and Blair Tuke entering the medal race, with a four point lead over their nearest rivals...scheduled to go at 6.33pm.

    Laurel Hubbard starts her campaign in the women's over 87 kilogram weightlifting class late tonight.

    The New Zealand eventing team chase a medal in the team's competition in the Three Day Event tonight. sitting fourth before Tim Price rides again looking to get into the medals in the individual competition.. he is fourth heading into the showjumping.
