England enter tonight's second test against the Silver Ferns with a spring in their step, despite being down one-nil in the three-test netball series

The Roses lost by six goals in the opener - a margin that was opened up by a late surge from New Zealand.

England coach Jess Thirlby says it was an evenly matched contest, and there were areas where they challenged the Silver Ferns.

Thirlby says that makes for a healthy disappointment.

    Centre pass is at 7:30pm.
