    A study shows over 200,000 adults struggle with eczema in New Zealand -- however treatment is limited


    Currently there are no reimbursed advanced treatment options for those with moderate-to-severe eczema in the country.

    Waitlists for public dermatology services are long and cost can be a barrier for some.

    Eczema Association spokesperson Vanessa Jenkins says she hopes the findings prompt action.

    She says the data which we haven't had before, shows the strong need to find out what is going on for eczema patients.
