Centre pieces of today's Budget include KiwiSaver changes - and a new business tax incentive

Centre pieces of today's Budget include KiwiSaver changes - and a new business tax incentive

It also tightens up youth benefits, puts seven billion-dollars into health over four years and one-billion into hospital infrastructure, and nearly 400 million for prison funding, to match rising need.

The rushed changes to pay equity saved the Government nearly 13 billion dollars.

Finance Minister Nicola Willis says the new Investment Boost will immediately let businesses deduct 20 percent of the cost of new assets.

She says her message to manufacturers, tradies, farmers and other businesses is the Government is helping them invest in their future, and the country's future.
