    New strong wind warnings have been issued for the east coast of the North Island


    MetService says Hawke's Bay south of Napier and the Tararua District can expect severe gale westerlies of up to 130 kilometres and hour in exposed places until 10pm.

    The Chatham Islands can expect similar gusts until 3 tomorrow afternoon, along with heavy southwest swells and squally thunderstorms.
