    The Tactix are the ANZ Premiership champions for the first time

    The Tactix are the ANZ Premiership champions for the first time


    They've stunned the defending champion Mystics 58-46 in the decider in Auckland.

    The Tactix held a 17-8 advantage at quarter time, then led 31-22 at half-time.

    The Mystics struggled to find a way back into the contest, with the Tactix winning their first domestic title since the competition's inception in 1998.

    Tactix captain Erikana Pedersen it's an emotional moment.



    The win has come in Donna Wilkins' first season as coach.
