    Live updates: Pro-Palestinian protesters cleared from Sydney Harbour Bridge after march

    Protesters in Sydney and Melbourne have marched in support of Palestinians in Gaza, with the Sydney Harbour Bridge closed to traffic as an estimated 100,000 people walked across. Follow live.


    Thousands of people have walked across the Sydney Harbour Bridge as part of a pro-Palestinian protest.

    The bridge remained closed to traffic for longer than expected after the group changed its route.

    NSW Police issued two geo-targeted alerts directed at protesters at around 3pm, saying the march needed to stop due to "public safety".
