A reminder there are no spare doctors

Junior doctors from Christchurch were called in to keep Timaru Hospital's emergency department open at the weekend.

STONZ Executive Jordan Tewhaiti-Smith says these are not additional staff brought in to fill gaps, they are doctors giving up their scheduled days off to support their colleagues and keep services running.
