Export NZ is welcoming changes to the food exporting rules

By the end of the month, food exporters will no longer need to apply for exemptions from New Zealand rules, if their products meet the importing country's requirements.

Executive Director Joshua Tan says it will save exporters money by avoiding costly, time consuming processes to get approval.

He says it's a massive relief.
