Gang tensions in South Auckland have exploded into what appear to be a series of tit for tat shootings between Killer Beez and Tribesmen members

Police have confirmed at least one incident in Bairds Road Otara this evening, but the NZ Herald reports there have been several others

This evenings outbreak of hostilities follow five drive by shootings in the city over the weekend.

They span the South Auckland area, as the Tribesman defend their turf.

There have been no reported injuries as a result of the gunfire incidents tonight and police are still investigating.
