Aaron Smith is advocating a 'Giteau-Law' type rule for All Blacks selection from abroad

Aaron Smith is advocating a 'Giteau-Law' type rule for All Blacks selection from abroad and believes the selection criteria will change in this World Cup cycle

The 125-test halfback is now playing for the Japanese side Toyota Verblitz.

Australia and South Africa pick players from abroad, but New Zealand have remained steadfast.

Smith's told Newstalk ZB's Rugby Direct podcast that if senior All Blacks could go overseas once they'd met a threshold, the team could be stronger.
