The Port of Tauranga says tax changes will hurt its profits

The Port of Tauranga says tax changes will hurt its profits

Chief executive Leonard Sampson says a law change on commercial building depreciation, will give the company a 12.9 million-dollar one-off deferred tax hit - for the year ending June.

He says the accounting adjustment will reduce their final reported profit - but has no impact on cash flows.
