The Black Ferns 7s have defended their World Sevens series crown with a pair of wins on Day One at the Singapore 7s - beating China 38-nil and Brazil 48-nil to ensure an unassailable lead at the top of the table

The nine-time league title winners will meet France in one semi-final with Australia meeting Canada in the other semi.

Not so great news for the All Black 7s - after beating the USA 29-14, they were thumped 36-5 by Fiji and dip out on the semi-finals.
